Exciting News!

Do you ever wish you had a resource for races and endurance sports in your area? Perhaps in your city or state? Do you wish you could have a central source to determine which races are worth running? Which races are worth traveling to? Which races sell out early? Not part of a club or organization and wish you still had access to all the racing resources that one can offer?
I know I often wish I had this type of resource, especially to find out about new races that are within reasonable traveling distance. Or, I might want to find out about races in other places and make it a vacation!
Well, look no further – Pace Per Mile Radio is here!
I am so excited about this station, which already has 80,000 plus listeners a month, making Pace Per Mile Number 1 for Endurance Radio.
That’s right. You heard correctly…This is an entire radio station for running, swimming, cycling, triathlon and endurance athletes.
Pace Per Mile has a lot to offer so make sure you check out the site HERE. Besides state racing reports and free race listings for race directors, the station offers a pace calculator complete with a split breakdowns; special programming with running legends such as Bart Yasso and Matt Fitzgerald; regular news and updates from the endurance world; nutritional and coaching advice; and inspiration from runners and athletes just like you. You can also subscribe to Pace Per Mile on iTunes so you never miss an episode or an update.
And the best part is I get to be a part of such an amazing program by reporting on the Ohio race scene. So. Excited.
You can check out my introductory report HERE. And make sure you tune in weekly to stay up to date on my reports. While you are at it, check out some of our neighboring states’ reports if you are still planning your 2012 (or 2013!) race schedule.

I am so excited and grateful for this opportunity, but I know I can’t do it alone. I will be relying on the awesome Ohio running community to keep me informed of events you think are worth sharing! Find me on Facebook, Twitter, Pace Per Mile Radio, or right here. Send me your comments, suggestions or ideas, and I will be glad to listen. I’m working on my reporting skills and I know I have a few things to learn so any feedback you have to offer is much appreciated.
And don’t forget to find Pace Per Mile on the social networking sites! This truly is a community that I can’t wait for you all to be a part of. Get connected today!

Until the next mile marker,
