Milestones: The Good, bad, and just plain ugly.

Weekly Goal Recap:
  1. Run the Pittsburgh Marathon in May 2011.
  • I’m not feeling like I got any long runs in this week.  Battling stomach issues and lack of motivation.  Does anyone else feel the same?  The winter is so depressing – dark when I leave for work and dark when I come home.
  • Thursday – Hard-core spinning workout and 30 minutes hill intervals on the ARC cross-trainer. It was the first time all week I really felt like I accomplished something.
  1. Loose the last 50 pounds the healthy way.
  • Again – not feeling like I made much progress this week in the weight loss department, in fact, I gained 2 lbs.  I feel really discouraged.
  • The only this that makes me feel any better is the fact that my push-ups are getting so much better!  I can actually feel strength that I didn’t have before in my arms, my shoulders, and my core.  Here is a look at my push-ups progress so far (I think this may be the best ones I have done to date):
3. Be at my goal weight of 150 pounds by next summer.
    • See above.
    • Today I weighed in at 202.4 lbs
    • Weekly weight loss: +2 lbs
    • Total weight loss since November 4, 2010: 4.4 lbs

And in brighter news (mostly because it benefits YOU fabulous followers)!!  Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks (before Christmas!) to see when I will be hosting my very first GIVEAWAY I’m so excited!  Stay tuned for a chance to get your 2011 training season off to a great start!

    1. I feel the same… lacking motivation to get out the door. I know that’s the most difficult part. Congrats on registering for your first marathon.
