Ohio’s Pace Per Mile Report for Week of March 12, 2012: On the Spot Interview with Adam Goucher and Tim Catalano

Listen to my interview with Adam Goucher and Tim Catalano, co-authors of Run the Edge on Pace Per Mile, the 1st Place for Endurance Radio HERE.

This weekend, I was beyond excited and grateful to have the opportunity to interview Adam Goucher and Tim Catalano as part of Fleet Feet Sports Columbus’ Grand Opening Celebration. Thank you to Jeff Henderson and all of Fleet Feet for hosting such a fantastic weekend. I am truly fortunate to be a part of such an amazing running and walking community.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous about the interview. Usually, I record my reports from the within the safety of my own little make-shift recording studio crammed in a corner at home where I can re-record (and re-record and re-record) until it sounds the way I want it to I sound the way I think I should.
This weekend, it was one shot and one shot only! Not to mention, I was a little star-struck meeting Adam and Tim. Together, they have over forty years of combined running experiences, Adam with thirteen years of a professional running career and Tim with fifteen years as a Psychology teacher and Coach. Wow.

These guys are about the nicest, kindest, funniest, most down-to-earth people you will ever meet in your life. I felt like I knew them from the moment we sat down and the nerves faded away as we began to talk. Amazing. Their distinct passion for running and motivating others to run prevails above all else. It doesn’t matter to them if you are fast, slow, big, small, competitive or not – we are all runners and they make it known that we are all part of the same running family.

If you haven’t already, visit Run the Edge on Facebook and check out their website. This book will change your life by motivating, educating, entertaining and inspiring you; and it will bring you a renewed passion for running that you may have forgot even existed. Want to get to know Adam and Tim yourself? Then read their book!
