(614) Magazine is a free local magazine that “highlights the people, places and things that make Columbus such an attractive place for the 25-45 demographic.” From Gallery Hop to the latest restaurants and live music to downtown living – (614) Magazine is the premier source for the very best Columbus has to offer. Per their website, the magazine is led by a team of talented writers and editors who craft intensely local content that captures the attention of our readers with a unique mix of style, verve and depth.

The magazine is currently taking votes for the 2011 ColumBEST Awards and guess what?! They have a new category – Best Local Blogger! I was really excited to see this category because their are a lot of great, informative, helpful blogs out there that don’t always get the recognition they deserve. I enjoy blogging and the frienships I have formed across the country, and I originally started this blog to not only share my own journey with others, but to help others achieve what I have achieved through running. In case you haven’t read it, check out my story.

Please take a moment to vote for me HERE. The category is NEW Best Local Blogger and is towards the bottom of the page. You have to write me in so please put You can log-in and vote through Facebook or create an account (email and password). It is easy enough that even my husband did it. πŸ™‚

Thank you to all who take a moment to vote – I appreciate you!! πŸ™‚Β

Until the next mile marker,

  1. Hi Sara,

I’ve cast my vote for you. I’ve been visiting for a while and I think you have a great blog.

Your story is uber inspiring because one of my BFF’s developed hypothyroidism about 5 years ago and she was really active before that. She struggled with a lot of physical pain as well as being sluggish and has struggled to get back into fitness but like you has started the process with small steps.

You should be very proud of what you have achieved so far – well done!
