Winner Announced and Other Blogging Miscellany!

Thank you to everyone who entered my iChameleons giveaway and thank you to iChameleons for sponsoring my giveaway. In case you missed my review, you can read it here.

Congratulations to Maryanne!

Maryanne, thank you for reading and for entering my giveaway. I am so glad to have you on this journey with me. 🙂

So remember iThe iGreat iPhone iCrsis iOf i2012? Um, so far not worth losing all of my data and pictures:

A new dial pad, really?!

I already knew this! Who relies only on GPS, anyway?!

While this is easier to read, I thought I wasn’t supposed to do THAT while driving?!

And, remember when I needed your help? Thank you for all of your advice! I came up with some sort of compromise which looks like this-

Option 3 – tinyprints

Back

Thoughts? Don’t forget my other two options.

How was your weekend? Tell me about it in the comments!

Until the next mile marker,

New Blog for Me. New Giveaway for YOU!

I started blogging a couple of years ago through Blogger – I had no idea what I was doing, and I was pretty sure no one would read my blog. I remember the first comment I got because I was so excited I went screeching to my husband that someone landed on my page!

Since then, my blog has evolved from its humble beginnings, been through several design changes, acquired its own domain name and now – it’s officially self-hosted on WordPress. I’ve been researching making the switch for quite some time now and admiring all those blogs that already have. I decided now is the time. Don’t ask me how I did it because I didn’t. My blog re-design was done by the fabulous Rita at Blog Genie (more about that later). What do you think? I love it!

As a thank you to my readers who have been with me since the beginning and to those of you who have joined me more recently, I have a fun little giveaway to celebrate my new look.

What do you carry with you on every run? I usually always have hydration, my phone, ID and a few dollars cash just in case. If I’m out on the trails or going for a short run and don’t need my hydration belt, I often find myself still carrying it because I need the pocket for my other essentials – primarily my phone. I sometimes wish I didn’t have to take my whole belt if I just need these few items and my shorts or jacket has a decent-sized pocket. I also don’t want everything just flopping around in my pocket where I can’t find something if I need it.

That is why I am so excited to find the iChameleons iPhone 4/4s-Hard Credit Card Case!

With this phone case for the iPhone 4/4s, you can leave your purse, wallet (or fuel belt!) at home because it is just grab and go! It is perfect for anyone who wants to carry less stuff, even if you aren’t out running or exercising. Its stylish, ultra slim and protective and it holds up to two cards. I have been carrying my ID and debit card in mine and it is perfect. I often grab my phone and my keys to run a quick errand so I don’t have to carry my whole purse with me.

The case is closed at the bottom of the card holder so your cards won’t fall out and they also fit in snug enough so they don’t come out the top either. I get compliments on my case all the time at the grocery store, drive-thorough window and when dining out. You will love this case.

You can still use your camera, charger and all phone controls without removing the case. It comes with a cap for the charger if you don’t want to leave it exposed, but I leave mine off most of the time unless I am worried about rain and am going to be outside.

When I initially purchased this case, I was hesitant because, as you can see in the picture above, it does not have a lip across the front edge of the phone. I was worried about durability and protection for my phone because I am hard on my phone and have even dropped it on more than one occasion. Not having that lip would be the only downside of this case and in fact, I would not have purchased it had I known it didn’t have one, but I didn’t find out until afterwards. I am completely impressed! It is made out of a polycarbonate shell (it’s hard) and is impact resistant and flexible. I have been just as hard on my phone as usual, even dropped it and nothing has happened to the phone. There is a small scrape on the back of my case where I dropped it on concrete, but I am more than okay with that because that is what the case is there for.

The iChameleons iPhone 4/4s-Hard Credit Card Case also comes in seven fun colors so you don’t have to pick just one. It is also very simple to put on your phone and there is no disassembly required.

Want to win it? iChameleons has graciously offered to give one lucky winner a pink case. Please note, the case  is only compatible with the following phones:

Until the next mile marker,
