THANK YOU and please keep PRAYING

Words cannot describe the gratitude I have for each and every one of you who has taken the time to pray for Stephanie, her family, and her friends. Whether you left a comment here or took time to reflect in your own way, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Tears are literally streaming down my face as I read your comments. Thank you.

And more importantly, I know Stephanie and her family thank you. I received word from a mutual friend about a half hour ago that her family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support being shown for her to pull through. I don’t for one second believe that one prayer or thought goes unheard. I am still praying, please keep praying – for a miracle.

Her family passed along the suggestion that if we wanted to see her, to come soon. They didn’t provide any further details. Her outlook is very bleak. My heart breaks for her family, for what they must be going through.

Thank you to Robin, Katherine, and Jill for spreading the word via their own blogs. And also to anyone I may have missed. This is what I am talking about. I have never met these ladies – or any of you – in person in my life, yet we are family because we are runners. When one of us is down or hurting – like Stephanie – we are all there to pull that one through. I am praying for that tonight. The support of my fellow running community – of Stephanie’s fellow running community – has amazed me beyond words.

It is hard for me to continue at the moment. Please keep praying friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.

We love you, Stephanie. MIT 2010.

  4. I’ve been thinking about your friend since I heard yesterday and praying during my runs and pensive moments at home. I’ll offer some up for strength for you as well. I’m so sorry you’re all going through this. May you all find comfort soon.
