Thank YOU Followers!

As you know, I’m gearing up for my very first giveaway! I’m so excited mostly because I get to THANK YOU, my readers, for following me on this journey and for your support and generosity through comments and words of encouragement. I remember when I started this blog (only this past summer!) and I was whining to my husband saying that no one but him would want to “follow” me (and I barely knew what “following” was about). Since then, I have found that you, my fellow bloggers, are both knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to blogging, and I appreciate what you do and write about on your sites because it serves as an inspiration to me!
Most of all, you have reminded me that I am not alone as I commence training for my first full marathon in May 2011 (and so many of you are on this journey with me!). You remind me of what the running community is all about when I have a bad running day; when I have an awesome running day; when I’m injured or not feeling well; when I am struggling; when I run a PR; and when I need advice! Thank you all.
Here is just some of what you have had to say over the past few months (and believe me when I say, I wish I could quote you all – your comments do not go unnoticed):
Awesome! You are an inspiration!!! And I love your “Words to Run By!” What a simple but great mindset! A great big congrats to you for all of your accomplishments thus far, as I am sure there are many more in your future! – kk @ Running Through Life (and my very first non-relative comment!)
Way to ROCK your half marathon! Wow! Loved the details and the commitment to finish strong. Well done!! – Robin @ Running Circles Around the Turtles
I love this post. You are so open and honest about your feelings, which is one of my favorite things to find in a blog. And your email from your mom is priceless. I’m glad you found my blog. It’s nice to see another Ohio face! My first marathon will be the Flying Pig in Cincinnati on May 1. That’s so neat we’ll be doing our first marathons the same month! – Christina @ Making Healthy the Norm
Awesome time! Way to go on the weight loss as well! You rock! – Shannon @ My Absolutely Perfect Mess
Way to PR in your 4 miler. And wine as a race prize? Awesome. Just found your blog and look forward to following you. – Kim @ (Just) Trying is for Little Girls
